"We would recommend the financial sacrifice to anyone who might be considering stretching their budget to accommodate a unique experience."

Tuition Assistance Information
At Marist, it is our goal to provide a top-quality education for every student who seeks that experience. We recognize that tuition represents a substantial investment for families. With funds provided by the Marist Foundation, the Archdiocese in Portland, the Knights of Columbus and other generous donors, tuition assistance and scholarships help us ensure that Marist can be accessible for every family.
For 2016-17, over $1 million in tuition assistance and scholarships was granted to almost 200 students - about 40% of our student population. Of the families that applied for tuition assistance, the total tuition assistance and scholarship packages ranged from $500 to $10,000 per student.
Please note that this process is independent of the admissions process. A family's ability to pay is not part of the admissions criteria.
Should I Apply for Tuition Assistance?
Marist encourages you to apply if you have any concerns about the ability to send your child to Marist due to the cost of tuition! Tuition assistance decisions are based on several factors including family income, assets, number of children and many others. The calculation of each family’s need is complex; therefore, eligibility for tuition assistance is difficult to predict. However, if you would like an estimate, please contact Reba Stephens, Finance Director, at (541) 485-7879 or email@example.com.
How to Apply
The application for tuition assistance is online. FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment, an independent company, processes the applications and makes recommendations to Marist regarding the number and amount of awards to be granted. FACTS charges a $30 fee to carefully analyze the information within your application. Financial privacy is a growing concern among families. FACTS gathers and secures all of your supporting financial documents including tax records. Data from your application is kept strictly confidential and accessible only to the school's President, Principal and Finance Director.
The deadline for tuition assistance applications was March 6, 2017, however, tuition assistance funds will be available after March 7th on a limited basis. Please contact Reba Stephens, Finance Director, at (541) 485-7879 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
Marist Foundation Scholarships
With great pleasure, the Marist Foundation Scholarship Committee will award more than 65 scholarships to deserving Marist students, who have established financial need, for the 2017-2018 academic year. Scholarships range in amount from $500 to $3,000 and have been generously endowed by faithful supporters of Marist to help assist students with the opportunity to experience excellence in Catholic education here at Marist Catholic High School.
The deadline for these scholarship applications was also March 6, 2017. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications after that date. The application process will open again January 1, 2018. Scholarship applicants are also required to complete a FACTS application.
