I’ve been teaching at Marist on and off – mostly on – since 1996. A lot has happened in that time. I have taught biology, chemistry, ecology, anatomy/physiology, pre-algebra, health, and physical science. My favorite task is working as a scorer at track meets.
My two daughters graduated from Marist in 2002 and 2007. The elder daughter graduated from Santa Clara University in 2006 and the younger from St. Mary’s College of California in 2011. They now live in San Francisco and Denver, respectively.
I currently teach ecology and anatomy/physiology. Anatomy is a “College Now” class, which offers 6 credits through Lane Community College. I also work at Sacred Heart Medical Center Riverbend in the transfusion service laboratory. My husband, Wally, is an attorney with Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt. We enjoy running, reading, and relaxing in our bit of spare time. We also try to visit San Francisco and Denver as much as possible.
I have undergraduate degrees in Medical Technology and Biology and a Masters degree in Education.
